"... but what is the truth?"
(Pontius Pilate)
As Pontius Pilate asked Jesus during that infamous trial, many of us today are searching for truth, searching for significance, acceptance and security. Jesus said that he has come to give us life, life in all its fullness. The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life together.

Within each one of us, there is something that cries out for meaning. We are looking for truth, but as Pilate said to Jesus during that infamous trial: "What is the truth?"
There is a desire to connect with something bigger than ourselves. A desire to live meaningful lives and discover purpose. A thirst to make sense of the mess we see around us.
All sorts of people within Andover Baptist Church have discovered in Christ a whole new way of living, a new identity and security, a sense of forgiveness and purpose.
Here are some of the things Christ said:
"I have come to give you life, and life in all its fullness"
"For God was so passionate about the World, that he gave up his only Son. So that whoever invests their life in him will not die, but have everlasting life"
"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No-one gets to the Father apart from me".
As you travel on your journey of discovery, we have put up some signposts, or 'by-the-road shelters' to help you take time out, and consider for yourself the message that Christ brought. These are opportunities for you to question, to debate, to challenge, to share food and thoughts, and to go on your journey, no-strings-attached.
